How long does it take to know if your breasts are going to be even after diep breast reconstruction? it was unilateral to my right side.

Recommend 6-9 months: Once the breast mound has been created, it may take up to 6-9 months for resolution of swelling and fibrosis. This is the typical amou t of time that i will advise patients to wait for revisions. However it does depend on the extent of the asymmetry and what needs to be corrected.
