Neither in excess: Usually, the fruit has other nutrients that are lost in processing. Obtain olive oil that is the first cold pressing and is virgin. Olive oil is not good for high temp. cooking of food but good for sautéing and on salads. Excessive use of the olives or oil is fattening. Moderation of all is best.
