Contains MUFA's: Olive oil contains a healthier type of fat called "monounsaturated fat" (MUFA) compared to saturated fats like butter or trans-fats used as an additive in many processed foods. MUFA's benefit by lowering total & LDL cholesterol levels. Replacing bad fats in your diet with MUFA's can lower your risk of heart disease & is beneficial to type 2 Diabetes. Limit daily fat intake to 20-35% of calories.
