What?!?: Fordyce granules are sebaceous glands (oil glands) they are normal and cannot be removed by sandpaper (i.e. Toothpaste). You might just as easily use a potato peeler to remove your skin! if you must remove them (again, why?!?) see a dermatologist with laser experience. Otherwise, go spend the wasted time doing good--like volunteering at a soup kitchen or children's cancer center.

Toothpaste no help: Fordyce spots are ectopic (not in normal place) sebaceous glands (a type of fatty sweat gland) that are not detrimental to your health; they may only be cosmetic blemishes. Most physicians recommend no treatment for removal. However, if you wish to pursue this, toothpaste has no affect on elimination. You would need surgery or laser use to remove. Discuss with dermatologist.
