Get several opinions: Early decision matter in cancer treatment, so it's important to get multiple opinions. One should be from an academic medical center. You will need an otolaryngologist (ENT) for a surgery opinion, and opinions from a medical oncologist and radiation oncologist. Surgery/radiation: Needs evaluation at a tertiary surgical center with strong ENT , dental surgeon involvement. They can decide if surgery , radiation or chemo therapy is appropriate and at what time.
