I'm getting a ct scan on my head next week. what to expect?

Pretty easy: As in the picture, you will lie on a table which will then slide you into and out of the scanner during the scan. The scanner loos kind of like a big donut. Not nearly as long and narrow as an MRI scanner. Depending on the scanyou may or may not have IV contrast injected during the scan.
