Risk vs. Benefit: It all comes down to risk versus benefit. Speak to your doctor. Radiation for infants and children are to be kept "alarp" (as low as reasonably possible). Make sure the study is done at a center or hospital where pediatric radiology is normally performed. You can also speak to the pediatric radiologist at that center to feel more comfortable with the exam for your child.
