Colonoscopy: Without knowing your age or history, the best way to rule out other causes is to get a colonoscopy. This is not normal and finding the reason for both the diarrhea and the bleeding is important. See a GI doctor or colorectal surgeon to be evaluated properly.

Colonoscopy: A colonoscopy will evaluate your entire colon for problems that can be the cause of blood. If nothing else is found, it is the hemorrhoids.
