I assume yes: Especially for vibrato. There are many things in the hand that change over time and a 20 year old set of fingers is not the same as an 80 year old set. Arthritis, joint postion, hand strength, sensation, touch, and yes tremor all will affect the way the instrument is played especially for a stringed instrument.
