Orajel: The ingredients in orajel are not addictive. That is not to say that an individual may become dependent on using it unnecessarily. It is intended for short term use. If you or anyone else has a continuing dental problem, it should be evaluated and treated by a dentist. Orajel merely numbs the area, it does not remove the cause of the discomfort.
