Is it normal to have behavioral changes after the removal of an ovary?

Not after just 1: Usually not after the removal of just 1 ovary, since the other is still producing hormones the body (including brain) needs. A woman may have preexisting issues which lead to behavior changes after the removal of an ovary, especially if this leads to drinking more alcohol or using more drugs. Please see your physician this one. Best wishes, .
