Don't assume RSV: The RSV issue in early childhood tends to be more intense, with a fraction needing hospital care. It recurs every year or two with the symptoms lessening every time until most adults just have nasal drainage & a little cough. If you have significant hurting & cough, you need to see if something treatable is going on & treat it accordingly.

Probably RSV: Good chance you may have caught the RSV from your daughter. If you're having actual difficulty breathing then you should consult your doctor. Meantime, keep well hydrated and rest as much as possible. If you're asthmatic or have another chronic respiratory or cardiac condition, consult your doctor sooner.
