It depends: Cough is a common symptom & the AAP currently recommends not giving cough suppressants to children under 4 years of age. Coughs may be associated with many different things, including allergy, illness, asthma, smoke exposure, & others. If your child has cough for more than 10 days, associated with persistent nasal congestion, sinusitis should be considered. It may be worth a trip to see your Dr
