30 sec to 4 min: There are multiple causes for drop in BP including dehydration and dysautonomia. There is a delayed onset type of dysautionomia that must be diagnoses with a prolonged tilt table test (40 min). You can check for pulse and BP changes 30 seconds and 3-4 minutes after assuming a standing position. You can also assess changes from reclinincg to sitting, reclining to siting and sitting to standing.
