Is it better to take florinef in the morning or the evening for orthostatic hypotension? ive always heard in the morning but more recently i found articles that say to take at night to prevent nocturia?

Your treating physician should advise you when is the best time to take medication. Personally, I would think in the AM.

My 63 years old father was prescribed 0.1 mg florinef (fludrocortisone) daily for hypotension. He took it for 4 months and reduced the dose to half (0.05 mg) 3 weeks ago. Should he stop taking it without tapering as his bp is around 143/68 at night?
On Florinef x 6years for hypotension. I always had salt cravings & handfuls daily to keep bp up. Still had low serum sodium. For the past few weeks this all stopped. I no longer crave salt-and stopped the handfuls but Im retaining weight. Causes?
