Ortho hypo: Regardless of age, orthostatic hypotension refers to a condition when changes in position like from lying down to sitting up or from sitting to standing cause your blood pressure to drop making you feel light headed or feint. Dehydration or blood pressure medicine that is too strong are examples of common causes; there are others.
