Can be done: Angiomyolipoma or AML is a fatty tumor often considered a benign disease. It can be solitary or part of a genetic complex called tuberous sclerosis and present with many deposits. It carries a risk of bleeding. Embolization or placing coils into the small arteries feeding the mass is one way to treat it. The decision may require careful evaluation of the size and location of the mass.
