How does a general surgeon remove wisdom teeth?

Good Question: Not sure than there are many general surgery residency programs that offer removal of wisdom teeth as part of their training. I would think most general surgeons would refer their patients who need to have wisdom teeth removed to a dentist or oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

Never: A general surgeon would never attempt a wisdom tooth extraction. For best results, see the wisdom tooth expert - board certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon, for exam/recommendations.
