Dreams?: Maybe you are naming the machines with names of women....Just saying that's what i'd tell my wife and I am a shrink....

Women and machines: Maybe your unconscious views women as machines to be worked on? I'm guessing that your wife feels otherwise. ;-) dreams can come from all kinds of places in us, and are sometimes related to things which have happened or conflicts we're dealing with. I've never heard anyone say they have 2 dreams at the same time, but surely multiple themes can be in the same dream.

Wonder: Dreams are like scrambled eggs which assemble true events, thoughts, and wishful thinking in random order. I must admit that I have never experienced two separate dreams at the same time although a dream may link several unrelated events in sequence. One usually recalls the details of the last dream the best, especially the scary ones (calling other women's name next to your wife is one example.
