I wear monovision contacts and lose some depth perception when driving. is it possible to wear glasses over the contacts to improve this when driving?

Yes: Glasses can be made with window glass over the distance eye and a correction for the near eye which renders it clear at distance. This is commonly done and helpful when driving at night or in the rain.

Yes: You can balance the monovision with glasses, so both eye will be focus for distance. Not sure this will help you depth perception though.
