It depends: The answer depends on the clinical history (ie what your symptoms are and the clinical course). Every test has a false-positive rate, and eeg probably has a higher rate than most. So if you have a personal history of seizures, then the latest eeg finding may be meaningful. Otherwise it may be a red herring.
