If i had 2 normal eegs and one normal mri and my dr. discontinued keppra is this why i just had seizure or should i suspect syncope. ?

Seizure or syncope?: Hello, Keppra is a medication that is used to prevent seizures. If you had 2 normal EEGs and an MRI and no seizures for a few years, your doctor did the appropriate thing by discontinuing the Keppra. A seizure almost always has loss of bowel or urinary continence. If you had either one of those then you did have a seizure and you should restart Keppra. Syncopal episodes don't have that.
