Allergies: Unless you are having colored secretions, with a cough, you probably have allergies. You should get checked to see if you have them. Allergies predispose you to a cold. Good luck.

More than a cold: A cold usually is referring to a viral infection in and around the nose. It causes things like a runny and congested nose, a cough, a bit of a sore throat and generally not feelin good. It is worse the first week and should be mostly gone the second. When it lasts a iot longer or gets much worse it may be allergies or a bacterial infection. Your dr will have to sort out the best treatment.
