Kidney pain?: How do you know pain is from your kidney? It is unusual to have pyelonephritis without fever. Kidney stones are not a known complication of behcet's disease, but ruptured aneurysms may occur virtually any place in the body. This autoimmune condition does not usually affect the kidneys. Whether going to er is necessary depends upon how ill you feel, but that is not a place for diagnostic workup.
