Contradictory: How could you have a swollen gum, along with pressure on the right side of the jaw and not having an infection? By definition, swollen gum means there is an antigenic response in your gum and it is an indication of infection. Capillary dilation and chemotaxis of immune cells into the area to fight the infection causes the swelling. I would suspect malocclusion along with localized periodontitis.

Swelling: Swelling indicates infection. See a Periodontist, a gum specialist, to re-evaluate. Would also be prudent to see ENT.
