Why risk life vs OR?: All methods are procedures: endoscopy might access some sources; interventional radiology and angiography might reach others. If bleeding internally, surgical access and resolution are most common approach--except in limited situations with solid organs (liver / spleen) after some traumas that are watched very closely for cessation.
