Wisdom tooth : Try to stop the bleeding by biting on gauze or use a tea bag if you do not have gauze. If you are still bleeding call the dentist that did the extraction and they will help you. You do not. Need to wait until normal office hours to call.

Recurrent bleeding: Happens sometimes, especially if some of the newly formed clot washes out. apply gentle pressure to the area by biting on a folded-up gauze pad or a tea bag wrapped in an unfolded gauze pad. Change the pad every 20 minutes. Bleeding should stop within an hour. If it doesn't, please call the General Dentist or specialist Oral Surgeon that did your extraction.
