Is it possible to stop bleeding from deviated septum without surgery?

Keep it moist: The reason most deviated septums bleed is bc the lining overlying the septum becomes dry. Start with vaseline applied with a qtip a couple of times a day. You can even try nasal saline mist (spray). If that doesnt work you can try ponaris which is what i recommend for really dry patients. However, fixing the deviated septum not only helps with the bleeding but helps the patient breathe much better.

Deviated septum: correction of a deviated septum requires surgical intervention. But the bleeding may be another issue, Be sure your surgeon is a board certified otolaryngologist.
