Cholesterol : The yolk contains a large amount of cholesterol. The egg white is protein, which is a better choice for most people.

If too much: Eggs are relatively cheap and provide excellent source of proteins, but excessive use, particularly the yoke can cause trouble to those with high cholesterol. The trouble is not just the eggs, we consume too much cholesterol from other sources/meats. So, if you don't eat much meat/or u r a vegetarian, and no high cholesterol, eggs should be a good thing. Be sensible be healthy. Good luck.
