Cannot diagnose: Your endocrinologist is certainly operating from a better prospectus than we could, not having examined you and not having access to the results of studies run. If you have serious questions about the diagnosis and treatment would strongly suggest getting a second opinion from somebody who can evaluate you in person. Good luck.

Yes it may be: There have been cases reported of autoimmune graves disease and is treated with Prednisone and the symptoms improve with it you should discuss your concerns with your endocrinologist as to reason for his diagnosis and treatment and follow up.
