Why does my ear only ring when i lay down?

Tinnitus- roaring,: Hissing, buzzing or tinkling. There are 2 main types- pulsatile or non pulsatile. The most common cause is hearing loss. Other causes can be related to associated symptoms such as vertigo, facial numbness, slurred speech... Make sure to have your doc look in your ear as one of the simplest causes is the accumulation of ear wax. Others include loud work env., smoking, and meds. Take care.
