You need OS: There is not enough room for your wisdom teeth or they are positioned to accumulate bacteria. If the infection is reoccurring you should see your dentist or an os (oral surgeon) for evaluation ANS treatment.

And it will not get any better. The best thing for you to do is see a dentist, or oral surgeon and have it evaluated for extraction. You can cause damage to the adjacent tooth. So take action now.

Recurring problem: It's not really a "growth spurt" that is causing your recurring problem. It sounds like there is insufficient room for you wisdom tooth to erupt into its normal and correct position. The overlying gum tissue gets at least inflamed if not infected. The tooth most likely needs to be removed before it becomes an even bigger and emergency problem. See an oral surgeon asap to have it evaluated.
