Disorder : when an illness causes impairment of functioning in one or more areas of one's life , that is called disability since the patient is disabled and unable to carry one or more functions. mental D/O on the other hand means mental disease such as depression, Anxiety, OCD.. etc.. so one can have a mental D/O without disability, if the disorder is severe enough, it may lead to mental disability. thanx
