See your Dentist: Grinding of your teeth and sore tongue may be 2 separate problems or you may be traumatizing your tongue when you do grind. You need to be examined by a competent dentist knowledgeable in temporomandibular dysfunction (tmd/ not / tmj) as grinding is not a joint problem but grinding is a neuromuscular problem. There are specialist in tmd. Ask your dentist if he/she isn't comfortable diagnosing you.
