Dental anesthetic : Meds and the sedation meds normally used in dental settings are unlikely to cause a problem when used on patients taking celexa (citalopram). However, always inform your dentist about any and all medications you take prior to any dental treatment ; discus the literature regarding your question. In my practice I have not had any issues with using anesthetic ; sedation meds on patients taking anti-depressants.
