Need more info: But immed after wound, trauma has occurred, tissue has also been burned. This starts a series of processes in motion. Notably trauma damaged and destroyed nerves, inflammation from injury and burn, blood loss which could effect sensation. In long run the the first two likely play a role, after inflammation subsides some sensation may return, some nerve function may regenerate.
