Is it normal for doctors not to scan breast lumps, what should i do?

Breast lump: Usually an ultrasound will be performed first in younger women. If you feel a lump that your doctor can't explain on the basis of history/physical, you should probably have an ultrasound. You can always get a second opinion if you are not satisfied with your current doctor.
