Absolutely: To remember something we have to place it in our memory. ADHD interferes with the brain's ability to focus, organize, and filter out distraction; all these effects will impair the formation of memories, particularly when the brain is relatively relaxed (like when reading, listening to a lecture, or setting down the car keys).
