Anxiety, fatigue: Many things can cause forgetfulness. It may help to journal examples and report these to your doctor. It may be normal forgetfulness for your age. It may be stress (anxiety) related, fatigue, aging or possibly something more serious if it progresses (worsens) and you should discuss with your doctor.

So many things: Forgetfulness could result from a lot of things. Our emotions, sadness/depression, anxiety, neurological problems, attention problems, stress from any source, certain medications, illnesses, dementia and others can all contribute to forgetfulness.If this is a new problem for you and you have no underlying medical problem to account for it, see your doctor for an evaluation.
