I had shoulder surgery last may an had shots in my neck.but i've had a knot in my trap for sooo long an i've done massage, pt, chiro. y won't it go away?

Need Ortho eval: With any chronic condition like that, i would reccomend follow-up with your orthopedic surgeon who did your surgery and see what they say.

Trapezius strain?: I am unclear as to why you had injections in your neck. Are you referring to an epidural injection for a cervical spine condition? The painful muscle spasm in the trapezius can be due to referred pain from the neck or myofascial pain or related to shoulder surgery.. If pain is deemed muscular you may benefit from a trigger point injection. Best to f/u with your doctor for further recommendation.
