Try: A massage therapist may help, however, if there was muscle strain you may need rest. If there was a more severe injury, you might want to see a doctor or a physical therapist. Acupuncture may also help.

Depends: You may have strained your rotator cuff or simply your neck with radiated pain from nerve pinching. You should see an orthopedic specialist if the discomfort or dysfunction persists and follow the pathway recommended. You could need physical therapy, steroid injections, rest, and perhaps surgery.
