Acne causes: Certain medications. Drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium are known to cause acne.Diet. Studies indicate that certain dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips, which increase blood sugar — may trigger acne. Hormones also affect acne. Try pepto-bismol on your face at night. Bismuth kills acne bacteria.

Many things: Acne is a consideration. However, I am also wondering if this is something you may be coming in contact with. This could involve many things. I would suggest you have a dermatologist take a look and discuss treatment options with you.
