I have broken tooth with a large filling, what to do?

Phone call: Call your dentist. Large fillings make teeth more susceptible to fracture. The sooner your dentist can see you the greater the treatment choices available and the better the prognosis. This is a new problem for you, but your dentist deals with this every day. You can't fix this yourself...Please get help.

Get immediate help: Fractured teeth with large restorations are susceptible to further fracture, and, depending upon the fracture, possible loss of the entire tooth. Call your dentist immediately so that he may assess the tooth and assist you in restoring it to a state of health and support.
