Pressure: Gentle direct pressure, mostly aimed at "pinching" edges of wound together/closed and hold for ten minutes. If stops, cover with bandaid and call dr's office in am. If prolific bleeding, won't stop, has pus along with it, etc., then call on-call dr or visit er.

Dry sterile dressing: Put a dry sterile dressing over it. The incision will heal no differently (except taking a bit longer) than if the skin edges stayed together. Nevertheless, let your surgeon's office know as soon as they open. Meanwhile, if there is drainage of pus-looking material, the wound gets red or bleeding is more than just a few spots on the dressing, then let your doctor know as soon as possible.
