Observe: If no other symptoms , you can observe for now.Low grade is. Temp of 100.4.Below that is not a fever.You can give tylenol (acetaminophen) as needed.To er if condition worsened.

Wait and watch: A child with low grade fever likely has a virus, sometimes with no other symptoms. If fever gets higher or something worrisome develops (like vomiting, bad headache, rash or looking just "sick") then definitely talk to or see your doctor.
