Unilateral doubtful: While gabapentin, prednisone, and Lidocaine may all cause facial and/or peripheral edema , it is doubtful that medications alone would cause unilateral swelling in r arm unless Lidocaine patch is on r arm or wt gain from meds is causing venous thoracic outlet syndrome (tos) that now coexists with neurogenic tos.
