Tingling of face: The burning (or tingling) of the face are probably not related to prednisone (unless you have electrolyte imbalance such as low potassium: eat bananas and oranges which are rich in potassium). The burning sensations in the arm may be related to your herniated disc (if it is in the neck). you should notice improvement within few days. I would get in touch with the doctor and have her/him explain
