Increase muscle mass: The healthiest way is through isotonic muscle resistance exercises using weights such as dumbbells , barbells or nautilus machines. By applying both concentric (shortening) and eccentric (lengthening) exercises you can stimulate growth by progressively increasing the resistance, or overloading the muscles to cause hypertrophy and to increase strength, while allowing proper rest for healing.
