Abnormal labs: You have to evaluate 2 different problems. One is your potassium (k). You may have a low k level due to a low magnesium (m) level, among other causes. Have your physician (p) check your blood for m and if it low, eat foods high in m, almonds and cashews, among others. Your glucose is high and to see if that is a problem, have your p order a hemoglobin a1c, which will tell you if you have diabetes.
