Yes: High fiber diet, 20-25 grams of fiber per day, 80-100 ounces of non caffeniated, non alcoholic fluids per day, more if you have a very physical job or excercise or travel by plane frequently. Also some med may require additional fluid intake as well.

Hemorrhoid creams: Over the counter medications include astringents to decongest and shrink hemorrhoids and 1% hydrocortisone.. Prescription creams include higher strength hydrocortisone. You can try over the counter medications for a week and if you don't get better, see a colon and rectal and rectal specialist.For external hemorrhoid swelling and pain use alternating ice pack with warm tub soaks.
